The Chevy Ford Band is the creation of principle songwriter Richard Murrey and hot shot Nashville producer, Steven Cooper.

Richard Murrey, is a multi-talented songwriter/bassist/guitarist. For over 30 years, he's played all over the southeast and out west with numerous country, rock and blues cover bands... sharpening his writing and playing chops all the while. Richard has penned and composed every song the band has produced except for "If Jesus wore shoulder pads", co-wrote with Cooper and "Wonderin'" which he co-wrote with his wife, Sheila. He loves laying down that "backline" so the song can breathe and take on it's own personality with Jordan's guitar work, Cooper's keys and Hudson's interpretations of lyrical expression. No ego here, just a pledge to make the song the center of attraction.

Jeff Jordan straps on his custom strat to handle the lead guitar duties. His smoking riffs are legend in the numerous studios around Nashville that require a shoot from the hip guitarist who has cut his chops from Chicago, L.A., Memphis, New Orleans, and New York. Throw down a riff in a style of song and Jordan is in the pocket without hesitation. Sweet and tasty, slow or hasty is the way he combines rock tones with jazz/fusion phrasings and a classic chorused, EQ'd guitar.

James "Bubba" Hudson, vocalist and rhythm guitarist, fits the music well because you must hear the words. He's the type of vocalist who delivers the lyrical line precisely with a vocal quality right in line with the particular songs genre. Bubba also has a very successful career as a songwriter and producer outside of the Chevy Ford Band and is featured on many exciting tracks and projects with his publishing company, Cherry Heart Music in Nashville.

Steven Cooper is a music row producer who garners respect and admiration from the entire musical fraternity in Music City. He's also a virtuoso on the keyboard. In this manifestation, Cooper holds down the heavy rhythm with an awesome selection of tonal barrages from the old Hammond B-3 to ear splitting wave forms of synth goodness and even a bit of dirty blues, honkytonk piano. Steven also works his studio magic by providing some percussive digital thunder behind the band. His mixes of the band's songs show the attention to detail he brings to the console and keyboard. He is constantly providing positive input in the creation of each and every song Murrey brings to the studio.
